Last week we learnt about continuity which is when scenes work together well and look the same and no different. Eg; Actor has a blue hat in one shot but in the next it's green.
We also learnt about the 180 degree rule: the camera films from one side and doesn't switch so everything looks the same.
The shot reverse shot rule: When the camera films from behind an actors head so you can see what the other actor(s) are doing.
And the match on action rule: When the camera followes the action. Eg:Following a hand slapping someone or a hand opening a door.
We were also put into groups and told to come up with an idea to film.
